AtheistsClub is for the most deviant of deviants: atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, and all hard core freethinkers.

The AtheistsClub promotes artists that share a way of thinking and living that aims to bring out the best in people so that all people can have the best in life. Our members reject supernatural and authoritarian beliefs. They affirm that we must take responsibility for our own lives and the communities and world in which we live. The AtheistsClub is for artists who emphasize reason and scientific inquiry, individual freedom and responsibility, human values and compassion, and the need for tolerance and cooperation. The AtheistsClub usually responds to notes and messages within one week. We do better on some days than others, but seven days seems to be the practical limit on how much we can do when things get busy. First check with the members to see if it's still active. If it's not active then you can start your own. Just start it, and tell everyone who is already joined that you're forming one that is still active. If you do make one let me know I'll be first to sign up. Just make sure that the leader just didn't go on a vacation somewhere. If he has another account then just see if he uses that, and try to get in contact with him.

I've been researching some of the old journals to try to glimpse who might have started the Atheists Club and so far I've only stumbled across the name 'Charles'. After all my readings I still haven't come across who made the club, or if they have another account.

I suppose I could try to get a hold of the members, but there are literally hundreds of them; and I have no idea if they know who started the club any more than I do.

I'm fairly certain that the person who started the club has been gone for over a year because the last deviation and the last journal entry are both dated as March of last year.

I've been flirting with the idea though of making my own club, I really don't see any reason not to. If I do though, I'll be sure to let you know!

I sent out notes to all the members tonight, and I've gotten at least 5 reply's saying they didn't know who started it. Some of them even said that it was a non active group when the first joined up. I've also found a lot of them had moved to different accounts, and hadn't tried to rejoin.
:iconhajike-no-tori: said that she would join if anyone started a new one up. If you do make it make sure to let all the old members know.

heh, late response ^^;

just think of it this way. many people find religious crosses and whatnot offensive. theyre saying that a god exists.

do you go to christian group sites on deviant and tell them that their religious symbols are offensive?


hmm. O.o I guess my directly indirect point is, religion (and lackthereof)-based arguments are lose-lose freedom of speech death traps, pits of quicksand that, when you step in them, youre not gonna come out a victor.
