I'm religious myself and I agree with this. However my questioning is in the motives of other religous groups, notably the non-Conservative Fundamentalists( There's a difference...a BIG difference). Which is why I question those weirdoes with the tounge speaking and such as to, where is it written. That sort of stuff, you don't have to be atheist to question the "principles" of others. Of course I've often been questioned myself for being friends with atheists and such.

It's the people who never question anything that frighten me the most. Fortunately, I don't think there are all that many of them. Thinking is addictive enough that most people just can't give it up for long.

Same here, otherwise we're left to a world similar to George Orwell's 1984 or Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. I mean let's face it we've all questioned, I even questioned my faith, of course events changed that and a friend of mine( who's taught in various subjects) went through proof with me. Now not everyone might belive it but that's human nature.
Also, with Darwin, I often tell people not to bash him off the bat. To me Darwin tried explaining how nature worked not nessisarily what he's associated with mostly( I often tell people of my faith that even Darwin went to church) but his observations hold up, except for the idea of macroevolution and that I'm not convinced of but I agree with several statements on nature of his, such as the finches. I also often tell them that there is such thing as evolution but in somewhat different senses.
Now I do question atheism and other forms like that but what can you expect from me? Just like I can expect you to question my beliefs. Heck for us religious Jesus had questioned the Pharises on their tactics. Plus, we're not so different. According to the Roman Pagans we're atheists too, ain't it a small world?
