The U.S. is NOT a Christian Nation
AtheistsClub member *Ash-Nazg4321 journal for October 1, 2007 has an excellent article on the Religious Right's attempts to "rewrite history by asserting that the United States government derived from Christian foundations, that our Founding Fathers originally aimed for a Christian nation. This idea simply does not hold to the historical evidence."

ONE WEEK
The AtheistsClub usually responds to notes and messages within one week. We do better on some days than others, but seven days seems to be the practical limit on how much we can do when things get busy. Although, sadly, I think the USA has sort of become a Christian nation. God is mentioned too many times in the small, everyday peices of the government - Pledge of Alligence, our nation's motto - for it to not be. The majority of Americans are not Christians, but Christianity is the largest religious group in America.
Which sort of sucks for us, since from personal experience I've found them to be the least accepting.
