AtheistsClub is for the most deviant of deviants: atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, and all hard core freethinkers.
The AtheistsClub promotes artists that share a way of thinking and living that aims to bring out the best in people so that all people can have the best in life. Our members reject supernatural and authoritarian beliefs. They affirm that we must take responsibility for our own lives and the communities and world in which we live. The AtheistsClub is for artists who emphasize reason and scientific inquiry, individual freedom and responsibility, human values and compassion, and the need for tolerance and cooperation. Oh, and let's have some fun too!

JOURNAL 2007.10.22
*** HUMANISM ***
In this week's journal we continue our series of articles about humanism, one of the most popular and well established philosophies among free thinkers. We're looking at the specific statements that make up the core of the Humanist Manifesto III as put forth by the American Humanist Association.
"Knowledge of the world is derived by observation, experimentation, and rational analysis. Humanists find that science is the best method for determining this knowledge as well as for solving problems and developing beneficial technologies. We also recognize the value of new departures in thought, the arts, and inner experienceeach subject to analysis by critical intelligence."
More next week.

*** The 300 ***
The AtheistsClub has officially reached the size that is too hard to keep up with every week. We have over 300 members. How cool is that?!
We're going to rearrange a few things to make it easier for us behind the scenes, so if you see some odd things going on, don't worry we're on it.
Madness!?

*** ONE WEEK ***
The AtheistsClub usually responds to notes and messages within one week. We do better on some days than others, but seven days seems to be the practical limit on how much we can do when things get busy. We almost never get complaints, but I wanted to make sure that everyone knows, we are definitely not ignoring you if it takes that long! Thanks for understanding.

I'm proud to be an atheist!
98% of Deviants don't know the difference between "your" and "you're." If you're one of the 2% that wants to punch 'em, put this in your sig.
